Citrus is an integration testing framework written in Java that tests your software application to fit into your customer’s environment. The tool simulates surrounding systems across various transports (e.g. Http, JMS, TCP/IP, SOAP, …) in order to perform automatic end-to-end use case testing.
Citrus
- easily simulates interface partners supporting a wide range of protocols
- automates the integration testing for enterprise applications
- performs fully qualified use case end-to-end tests
- brings back the fun for integration testing
Citrus uses following technologies
- Spring 2.5.x as the glue for everything
- Spring Integration 1.0.3 as messaging solution
- TestNG runs Citrus tests
- SLF4J for logging
- Maven as build tool with support for multi module projects
- Bamboo as build management tool for continuous integration
